frutti di mare tasted really bland; everything blended together. i couldn’t even taste the difference between the mussels, clams, or sauce! i might as well have sucked on my thumb for the whole lunch. lighting was dim, and it wasn’t helping that the natural light from outside would constantly fluctuate. service was ok, but not spectacular. i’d give the restaurant (near the Evergreen Community College in SJ, CA) another chance though, seeing as how ‘frutti di mare’ had seafood in it. maybe the chef can’t do seafood? i dunno. all i know that it was a waste of $12.50… their iced tea was overpriced too ($1.95?? i don’t think so).

if you’re going to eat here, opt for a simpler piece.
